Crusty The Snowman
: Winter Fun.

Shave down a 4 inch styrofoam cone until it is looking carrot shaped and paint it orange with acrylic paint. Shove a clothespin (non-spring variety) into the flat edge, prongs out. Cut eyes, and mouth as well as charcoal shaped buttons out of craft foam and pierce centers with clothespins (paint tips black). Be creative with shapes and colors. Get a colorful scarf and a felt top hat (found at costume shops or craft stores). Place the scarf and snowman parts in the hat and wait for a snow-filled day to make magic.

Variation: Get a pretty straw hat or bonnet and make Crusty a Mrs. Crusty.

Why "Crusty" ? That’s what my daughter called her very first snowman.
