Family Matching Game: Choose several  pictures of the members of your family.  You will need doubles if each print so either take the pictures to a place where you can make color copies, or use pictures that you already have doubles of.  Cut the pictures to the same size and glue or tape them on pieces of cardstock cut to be just a bit larger than the photos.   Make sure you chose only one color of cardstock.  Once the photos are in place, use clear contact paper, or laminate sheets to cover the front and back of the cards.  You now have a personalized set of memory cards to play all sorts of games with your little ones.

Try out some of these games and then see if you can make up your own.  Let us know what you come up with.

Flash cards:  Place the pictures on the table and say a person's name.   See if your baby can point to that picture. 

Matching Game:  Place all the cards face up and see if your baby can find two of the same pictures.

Memory Game:  As your baby turns into a toddler, see if you can play the matching game with all the cards face down.
