I am a 1/2 time college student, a single mother of 3 girls. Ages 13, 3, and 1. I work six and seven days a week and I coach softball in the summer months. How I am able to do this all is to be organized. My girls are on a schedule as far as eating, bath time, and bedtime. This is the secret behind being able to get it all done. Plus my other sectret is leftovers for supper. I fix supper in large quantities. This way the girls and I are able to eat for 2 or 3 days before having to fix supper again. Tammy Cromer

JobTitle: Paper MIll/ MOM
I was 21 years old, working at the local papermill I was doing hard labor work pulling 4 foot logs in the grinder. During this time I found out I was pregnent I was young and afraid. I was so afraid I didn't want anyone to know I carried on working 12 hour shifts until my last night shift I started filling those good old labor pains kicking in. Well later the next day there I was in the hospital giving birth. Yes I did bring alot of talk into the work and family they couldn't believe I had a baby. The bosses at work were stuck for words and my co-worker male friends were very shock. Well this was the beginning of my best memories in life of juggling motherhood and work, let me tell you it was tough from the first moment I had to return to work I went through all the motions of leaving my dear little girl for 12 hours a day thank God I had a great Lady Grandma B who helped me through this and my mother. I was very young and it was very hard being a mom the guilt you feel leaving your child trying to do 2 full time jobs. But let me tell you my daughter has given me the most percious moments strenghth and happiness I ever could receive. Well its 10 years later and here I am 31 my daughter is 10 and we have the best bond a mother and daughter could have through all those years of feeling exhausted and guilt, I know that I did just fine and my daughter life came first as she does now. A month ago my daughter came home with a project on Famous Canadians and as I look at the title it said My famous Canadian ROSE GALLIK, Tears staarted to roll down my eyes because Rose Gallik is me! In her speach she talk about me and through those years of feeling guilt and thinking I didn't do my job of being a mother is rest assured, for reading through her speach I know I didn't fail. I know now that those special game nights, and our date nights going to the movies and laying out on the porch at night looking up at the stars talking and laughing about funny things and special little secrets and always holding her in my arms looking in those big brown eyes telling her she is my best friend and I LOVE HER, I didn't fail one bit of being her friend but most of all Her MOMMY. Now here I sit at the age of 31 and facing another challenage due to cut backs at the mill being laid off, decided to go back to school and hope I can find a job to keep raising her and keeping her in her hockey and other sprots is very scary but you know I will Be fine because I have seen and lived it being a working mom well I let you know how this goes, but when things seem like its getting to tough I will open the book on My Famous Canadian My Mom and I know I will make it. Thank -You for just listening to me it was good typing pratice cause I'm not very good at it did labor work for a good protion of my life. MOMS rememeber just have your childern as number 1 and always have special times with them and most of all tell them you LOVE THEM!!!

JobTitle: President
I have started a small production company that produces films about parenthood. I have a 7 month old and a 4 year old. I edit at home from 9: p.m. to 1: a.m. and sleep when my 7 month old sleep.
I am a filmmaker trying to juggle my career and family and I recently finished a documentary film called Juggling It All™ Motherhood. This film covers many of the issues you point out in your website. "Motherhood" is a 45 minute video that takes an intimate look at three career women adjusting to the changes of motherhood. It would be great for life/work balance seminars and to have available for employees to check out, the film truly demonstrates that working women are not alone.
Check out my website www.jugglingitall.com and see for yourself. Im one more person just trying to make a difference and help others as well as balance my goals and family.
